Avis Plummer was a remarkable woman . I met her some years ago through my mother,who was later to become a neighbour. She loved life ,travel,music and people. She was loyal friend who can never be replaced. For anyone who ever met her she was unforgettable.

Avis left NZ in the early '60s she is sadly missed by her sister-in-laws Iris (Dunedin) + Mona (Kurow) & her Nieces Faye, Diane, Karen,& Christine,Sandra,Lynne, Debbie & Jackie & Jo-anne .We all live in the South Island apart from Jo-Anne who recently moved to Adelaide. Sadly Avis's 3 brothers have all passed way. Avis was the youngest of the family who all grew up in Kurow , North Otago NZ
